Construction Project Supervisor

About the role

The Store Construction Supervisor will lead the planning, design, fit‑out and delivery of TWYFORD INTERNATIONAL’s retail showrooms in Kenya. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure each project meets brand standards, stays on schedule and respects the allocated budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Showroom Store Identity (SI) Standards Manual and related procedures.
• Conduct site measurements, layout planning and space design for new stores.
• Review and approve design concepts, construction drawings, material schedules and cost estimates.
• Create project schedules, monitor progress, quality and compliance, and organise final inspections.
• Source and evaluate construction materials and suppliers, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Identify, contract and supervise qualified contractors and construction teams.
• Prepare, track and control project budgets, reviewing design changes to optimise costs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing and other internal departments and lead the store construction team.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail showroom or store construction project management.
• Experience delivering fit‑out or construction for at least 20 retail stores is highly preferred.
