Contracts Manager – Fire & Flood Division

About the role

SEED Environmental is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead fire and flood restoration projects across the Epping and London areas. You will work within a busy insurance repairs department, overseeing projects from initial inspection through to final account, ensuring high‑quality outcomes for policyholders, insurers and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Visit policyholders and stakeholders to assess damage, prepare repair schedules and agree scopes of work.
• Manage insurance repair projects from survey to completion, including costings, valuations and contract documentation.
• Handle variations, interim valuations and final accounts using internal systems and client portals.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages, monitoring performance, workmanship and Health & Safety compliance.
• Produce accurate progress reports, updates and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and snagging activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing construction, insurance reinstatement, fire and flood restoration or property repair projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and building repair works.
• Experience preparing project costings, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
