Corporate Finance Internship Programme

About the role

Lattice Consulting offers an internship programme in corporate finance based in Nairobi (Westlands). The programme rotates across assigned engagements so that interns build a broad understanding of the firm's advisory, audit, tax and finance functions, with structured training, mentorship and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Internal audit: support internal audit reviews, testing of internal controls and preparation of audit working papers.
• Tax: support tax computations, statutory filings and research on tax matters across client engagements.
• Accounting: support day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice processing and financial reporting, including exposure to the Finance team's Projects Accountant function.
• Corporate finance: support financial modelling, business valuations and due diligence engagements under supervision.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail across all tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another relevant field, depending on the stream applied for.
• Graduated within the last two years, or awaiting graduation in 2026.
• Completed or currently pursuing a professional certification such as CPA(K), ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Interest in tax specialization for tax trainees; interest in accounts payable, invoicing and financial reporting for accounting trainees.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
