Corporate Sales Executive IFA – Mombasa

About the role

Drive growth and retention of corporate General Insurance business through the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel in the Coast region. The role involves developing IFA relationships, identifying new opportunities and meeting annual premium targets.

Key responsibilities

• Secure new corporate General Insurance business through IFAs.
• Grow and retain existing corporate business in line with portfolio targets.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with IFAs to maximise opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve service issues promptly.
• Manage corporate renewals to maximise retention and minimise loss.
• Forward proposals and risk information to Underwriting for timely processing.
• Follow up premium collections and resolve outstanding receivables.
• Conduct initial risk assessments according to underwriting guidelines.
• Recruit, onboard and activate new IFAs.
• Execute market and IFA‑specific business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• Professional insurance qualification such as ACII, IIK or equivalent.
• 2–4 years’ experience in insurance, preferably General Insurance sales or intermediary management.
• Strong understanding of General Insurance products, coverage, exclusions and policy terms.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive IFA relationships.
• Proven sales and business development techniques to achieve premium targets.
