About the role
The Cost Controller will monitor, control and optimise costs for a hotel, focusing on Food & Beverage and operational expenses. You will ensure accurate inventory management, cost efficiency and compliance with Accor standards to support profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily food and beverage costs and analyse variances against budgets.
- Record and allocate all costs accurately.
- Identify cost leakage, wastage and inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory processes including receiving, storage, issuing and FIFO stock rotation.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Monitor slow‑moving and obsolete stock and propose actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cost reports (food cost %, beverage cost %, variance reports).
- Provide insights on cost trends and suggest cost‑saving measures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate data in inventory and POS systems and ensure integration with finance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in cost control, finance or F&B operations, preferably in a hotel.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and POS systems.
