Country Manager – Kenya

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Country Manager for Kenya to lead the business in Nairobi. The role will drive growth of the current portfolio and launch new innovative products across oncology, mental health and immunology.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve country sales targets, forecasts and market share objectives.
• Plan and manage budgets, optimise resources and approve activities across sales, medical, regulatory, marketing and market access teams.
• Maintain and grow relationships with distributors, ensuring stock availability and accurate reporting.
• Lead the launch of new portfolio products, including regulatory submissions, market access strategies, tender negotiations and medical education.
• Co‑lead execution of mental health projects and secure reimbursement funding.
• Uphold compliance with local legislation and promote a strong corporate image.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a country or regional business in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong understanding of oncology, mental health and immunology product markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work with distributors, regulators and internal cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
