About the role
We are seeking a proactive Credit Control Executive to join our finance team at Lionston Real Estate Limited in Nairobi. The role focuses on managing receivables, assessing client creditworthiness, and ensuring timely collections.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Evaluate new and existing clients’ creditworthiness using internal and external data sources.
- Set up and maintain accurate customer credit files and payment terms.
- Follow up on overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Prepare regular aging reports and provide updates to management on collection status.
- Collaborate with sales and legal teams to resolve billing issues and enforce credit policies.
Required profile
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- High level of integrity and familiarity with financial regulations.
- Results‑oriented mindset focused on meeting collection targets.
- Solid background in finance and debt management.
