Credit Control Manager

About the role

The Credit Control Manager will lead the credit risk and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and robust reporting. This role supports operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce credit control strategies, assess customer creditworthiness, and set credit limits.
• Drive timely collections, reduce overdue balances, and accelerate cash flow.
• Lead, mentor, and performance‑manage the Credit Control team.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve account disputes.
• Oversee debtor reconciliations, aging reviews, collections forecasting, and management reporting.
• Implement internal controls, automate processes, and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPAK or ACCA.
• 5‑8 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Finance.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven track record managing large debtor portfolios and collection teams.
