Credit Operations Associate – Global Credit Team

About the role

This role supports the Credit Operations Senior Manager and the global credit team in executing, tracking and institutionalising credit initiatives across d.light’s operating companies. The associate will combine performance analysis, project coordination, reporting and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly global credit performance reports, identify gaps and support deep‑dive analysis of under‑performing markets, products and customer segments.
• Coordinate rollout of global credit initiatives across OpCos, maintain project plans, track actions, monitor performance against objectives and escalates risks.
• Act as liaison between Global Credit, OpCo Credit Managers and commercial, CX, aftersales and field collections teams to ensure follow‑ups and implementation.
• Develop and maintain credit SOPs, playbooks, training materials and a central repository of best practices.
• Support technology and BI enhancements, coordinate UAT, validate dashboards and promote adoption of new credit tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Credit or related field; credit certifications a plus.
• 5+ years experience in credit, collections, business operations, analytics or project management, preferably in Africa‑based fintech or Pay‑Go environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with ability to work across geographically distributed teams.
