Credit Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Credit Portfolio Manager will lead the management of assigned retail and business banking credit portfolios, ensuring credit quality throughout the credit life cycle and driving portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit risk strategies in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Oversee product planning, credit initiation, account maintenance, fraud management, analytics, collections and recoveries.
• Conduct portfolio quality reviews, scorecard assessments and sampling to maintain credit standards.
• Lead and coach a team of credit professionals, fostering performance development and succession planning.

Required profile

• Business degree in finance, economics, statistics or related field.
• Comprehensive technical credit skills and general commercial/industry awareness.
• Working knowledge of risk management policies, procedures and pricing.
• Experience in leadership, people management and performance development.
