Customer Service Officer

About the role

The Customer Service Officer will be the first point of contact for visitors to our showroom, delivering a professional and friendly experience. You will support sales by understanding client needs, preparing quotations, and converting inquiries into sales while upholding the company’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk‑in customers, identify their requirements and recommend suitable workwear, PPE and branding solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations, invoices and sales orders, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Upsell and cross‑sell products to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organised showroom with attractive product displays.
• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with clients, handling complaints and ensuring post‑sale satisfaction.
• Record all customer interactions in the CRM system and monitor delivery outcomes.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to retention initiatives.

Required profile

• KCSE certificate with at least a C+ grade.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations or a related field.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales or front‑office roles is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
