Data Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Infrastructure Engineer to join a global leader in software development. This fully remote, full‑time position focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that empower business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines for large‑scale data ingestion.
• Implement and maintain data warehouses and data lakes for analytical and operational reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accessibility, integrity, and quality.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability.
• Document data architecture, processes, and standards for compliance and team reference.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks such as Airflow or Spark.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and data‑warehouse design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data infrastructure.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on scalability and performance.
