Data Intern Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Intern to support our logistics and fleet maintenance operations in Nairobi. The role combines data handling with hands‑on maintenance planning, giving you exposure to both automotive processes and analytical reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update preventive maintenance and repair schedules in collaboration with the workshop supervisor.
• Generate, close, and track job cards for all maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts requisitions, inspection reports and update the vehicle maintenance tracker daily.
• Raise and follow up on spare‑parts and consumable requisitions, coordinating with procurement and stores.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on maintenance status, costs and downtime, and assist in workshop budget preparation.
• Ensure inspection schedules and documentation meet NTSA and internal audit requirements.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or vocational training in Automotive Engineering or a data‑related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a workshop, fleet or technical administrative environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with inventory and procurement processes.
