DDC Technician (Water Systems)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a DDC Technician to support a US Navy water systems program on Diego Garcia. The role involves inspections, surveys, data reviews, and corrective actions to maintain certification and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support inspections, surveys, and data reviews for the Certificate to Operate (CTO) process as defined in CNIC M-5090.1A.
• Conduct sanitary surveys and assess water systems for health or regulatory issues.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and gather required data for stakeholders and regulators.
• Update the Requirements Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) with corrective actions.
• Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and assist with performance evaluations, testing, and maintenance of water systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience in inspection, assessment, maintenance, or compliance of water systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CTO review processes and CNIC M-5090.1A guidelines.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to update POAM.
• Valid passport (minimum 1 year) and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and obtain necessary visas.
