About the role
The Delivery Sales Agent is responsible for driving sales while ensuring timely, door‑to‑door delivery of products to customers within an assigned route. You will combine customer relationship management with basic vehicle maintenance to grow market share and meet sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing customers and identify new prospects in the assigned area.
- Deliver products promptly, ensuring no delays and completing real‑time sales uploads for each cylinder sold.
- Maintain accurate sales and delivery records, meet or exceed targets set by the supervisor, and provide feedback on market conditions.
- Drive the assigned truck safely, perform basic checks (tire pressure, fuel, oil, insurance, lights, mirrors) and report any issues immediately.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly to maximise satisfaction and retain business.
- Report market threats or competitive activities that require supervisory assistance.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required profile
- Certificate of good conduct.
- Valid Driving License (BCE).
- Good command of spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Sales or marketing experience is an advantage.
