Demand Planning Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Demand Planning Lead to join our Warehouse and Logistics team in Nairobi. The role will own the demand planning process, analysing market trends, historical data and sales inputs to produce accurate forecasts that support inventory optimisation and product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve demand forecast models using historical data, sales trends and market insights.
• Lead the monthly demand planning cycle, including forecast reviews, exception‑based planning and SKU‑level submissions.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse variances and communicate corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Provide clear demand and inventory assumptions to management and cross‑functional teams.
• Identify demand risks, supply constraints and opportunities to optimise safety stock levels.

Required profile

• A recognised degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and statistical abilities with attention to detail.
