Deputy Manager – Communications

About the role

The Deputy Manager, Communications will provide strategic communications support and technical assistance to BRAC International Microfinance’s eight microfinance entities across Asia and Africa. The role involves developing and implementing communications plans, creating compelling content and campaigns, and strengthening stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of annual communications plans for eight microfinance entities.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance, hands‑on support and strategic guidance to improve programme delivery and communication with clients, staff and external stakeholders.
• Assist country teams in aligning entity‑level communications with BRAC International Microfinance’s overall strategies, brand and messaging.
• Support communications for the financial inclusion component of the “Accelerating Impact for Young Women (AIM)” programme.
• Develop and implement internal and external communication campaigns, multi‑media content and design materials to enable staff to communicate the AIM programme effectively.
