About the role
Network International is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for end‑users requiring IT assistance. You will classify, resolve, or route incidents, ensuring smooth daily operations across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary IT support contact for all employees.
- Diagnose and resolve Level 1 hardware, software, network, and system issues.
- Log and track incidents in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for escalated problems.
- Provide IT induction and training for new staff members.
- Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles for common issues.
- Support unified communications tools such as VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration platforms.
- Participate in IT projects and perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
Required profile
- Passionate about information technology and eager to develop technical expertise.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with end‑users.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of documenting incidents and solutions accurately.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with global IT teams.
