Digital Marketing and Sales Intern

About the role

Oracom Group, a leading IT firm in Nairobi, is seeking a Digital Marketing & Sales Intern to generate leads, meet sales targets, and support the promotion of its digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Negotiate contracts and prepare sales agreements with prospective clients.
• Determine pricing schedules for quotes and negotiations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs and promote company offerings.
• Obtain deposits and balance of payments from clients.
• Visit clients and potential clients to assess needs and promote services.
• Maintain client records and answer queries about terms, quotes, services and availability.

Required profile

• Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of sales experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
