Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant

About the role

Elimu Sacco Society Ltd is looking for a creative and results‑driven Digital Marketing & Communications Assistant to join its Nairobi office. You will develop and execute digital marketing strategies, create visual content, and manage the Sacco’s online presence across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal and external communications to ensure clear, consistent messaging.
• Develop, create and publish engaging content for social media, website and other digital channels.
• Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
• Grow and maintain the organization’s social media presence, including scheduling, monitoring and engagement.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media and walk‑in interactions.
• Handle customer complaints, provide solutions and ensure follow‑up.
• Provide accurate product information and support promotional activities.
• Monitor, analyse and report on digital marketing performance and engagement metrics.
• Ensure all online content remains current, accurate and relevant.
• Support general office, branch or departmental duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management and customer service.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, campaign management and content development.
• Excellent communication, creativity and organisational abilities.
