Social Media and Content Officer

About the role

The Digital Marketing and Content Officer will support RE/MAX Kenya’s daily marketing activities by creating, publishing, and managing digital content across multiple channels. Working under the Manager’s direction, you will ensure brand‑consistent communication that drives engagement and leads.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the content calendar and schedule approved posts for social media, website, newsletters and other channels.
• Write captions, scripts and produce routine graphics and short‑form videos, using AI‑assisted tools where appropriate.
• Gather accurate property information and media, coordinate agents’ participation in campaigns and provide approved marketing materials.
• Update website and platform content, support CRM records, user setup and routine enquiries, escalating technical issues as needed.
• Verify facts, grammar, visual quality and brand compliance before publication, obtaining approvals when required.
• Track content delivery, engagement and enquiries, prepare concise updates and follow up with agents, office teams and suppliers on approvals and deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience managing social media pages and producing digital content for a business or brand.
• Proven ability to manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, including content creation, scheduling, publishing and monitoring engagement.
• Strong written communication skills for clear captions, scripts and marketing copy.
• Attention to detail in accuracy, branding, grammar and visual quality.
