Digital Marketing Intern (6-month placement)

About the role

Alba Hotel in Meru is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for a six‑month placement. The role will support online campaigns, social media, content creation and design while providing hands‑on learning in digital marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing digital marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, engagement and conversions.
• Support campaign optimisation on Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager to improve ROI.
• Create graphics and visual content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Manage social media accounts, track performance and optimise posts.
• Design and execute email marketing campaigns with compelling visuals and targeted messaging.

Required profile

• Recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and current digital marketing trends.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and content creation.
• Self‑motivated, creative and able to meet deadlines.
