Digital Marketing & Marketing Officer

About the role

Yemken Trading Company Limited is seeking a creative, data‑driven Digital Marketing & Marketing Officer to join its Commercial Department in Westlands, Nairobi. The role focuses on developing, executing and monitoring digital campaigns across major online platforms to boost brand awareness and generate qualified sales leads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow Yemken’s official social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) with brand‑aligned visual and written content.
• Design, launch and optimise paid advertising campaigns (PPC) and collaborate with the Sales Section to convert digital engagement into qualified leads.
• Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tools to reduce Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and maximise Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for the Marketing Head, highlighting impact and ROMI.
• Ensure all online content complies with Yemken’s corporate identity and route customer enquiries or quality concerns to the QA and Customer Care teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Mass Communication or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of specialised experience in social media marketing, copywriting or paid‑ad management, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in managing digital campaigns and delivering measurable results.
• Strong creativity, effective communication and a proactive customer‑orientation.
