Digital Workplace & Microsoft 365 Technical Expert

About the role

Career Directions Limited is looking for a Digital Workplace & Microsoft 365 Technical Expert in Nairobi. The role provides specialist Microsoft 365 technical expertise and advisory support, helping organisations optimise the adoption, integration, governance and use of digital workplace technologies. It covers solution design, advisory, governance, user adoption, support and continuous improvement, with emphasis on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform and emerging capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to Digital Workplace strategy, identify adoption opportunities and advise on new capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot
• Advise on accounts, access, permissions and identity, monitor the Message Center and Roadmap, and manage the Teams lifecycle
• Design and integrate collaboration solutions, build prototypes, and deliver SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, coordinating with offshore teams
• Provide Level 2 and 3 support, analyse and escalate ServiceNow tickets, and take part in architecture and change governance
• Support adoption and change management, create user guidance and training, and support digital champions

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Microsoft technologies and infrastructure
• Several years designing and delivering enterprise-wide applications and services
• Experience implementing organisation-wide change initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders, and managing product rollouts and outsourced development projects
• Ability to manage service vendors and strong business analysis and solution design capability

• Power Platform: Power Automate and Power Apps
• Advantageous: MS-102, AB-650, AB-900, PL-900 or other relevant Microsoft 365, Azure or Power Platform certifications
