Direct Sales Representative - Bancassurance

About the role

HF Group is hiring a Direct Sales Representative for its bancassurance business in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves selling insurance products to existing and prospective customers, building client relationships and meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and use feedback to improve.
• Help resolve customer problems and complaints quickly to maximise satisfaction.
• Deliver agreed sales targets and outcomes within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate sales efforts and activations with team members and other departments.
• Analyse the territory's market potential, track sales and status reports, and share customer insights with management.
• Stay up to date with best practices and promotional trends.

Required profile

• Academic and professional diploma from a reputable institution; a bachelor's degree is an added advantage.
• Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) is mandatory.
• ACII or AIIK, or progress towards them, is an added advantage.
• Six months of sales experience.
• Basic understanding of the insurance industry and products, and knowledge of industry rules and regulations.
