Direct Support Professional – Otsego Region

About the role

Springbrook is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work in the Otsego Region. You will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling lives by providing personalized support in residential, community, and educational settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care and meal preparation.
• Promote choice, independence, and community participation.
• Support clients in educational, residential, and community environments.
• Ensure compliance with Springbrook policies and state regulations for safe program operation.
• Provide protective oversight while encouraging autonomy.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and mandatory overtime.
• Ability to be reassigned to other locations as business needs dictate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle‑driving requirements.
