Direct Support Professional – Support Adults & Children

About the role

Springbrook is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across educational, residential, and community settings. You will help clients with daily activities, promote independence, and create meaningful experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care and meal preparation.
• Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and skill‑building exercises.
• Document client progress and communicate observations to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with Springbrook policies and state regulations.
• Provide flexible coverage, including evenings, overnights, and weekends as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime and overnight shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle‑driving requirements.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads.
