Director of Corporate Services

About the role

The Director of Corporate Services will report directly to the CEO of the Coast Water Works Development Agency and lead the coordination of finance, IT, corporate planning, communication and legal functions. This senior position ensures that the Agency’s corporate services operate efficiently, comply with legislation and support the delivery of sustainable water and sanitation infrastructure in Kenya’s Coast region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and integrate activities across finance and accounts, information technology, corporate planning, corporate communication and legal services.
• Develop and implement policies, plans and strategies for each functional area.
• Promote a high‑performance culture that encourages professionalism, innovation and teamwork.
• Maintain financial prudence, budgeting discipline and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure all corporate services meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a conducive work environment throughout the Agency.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate education.
• Minimum ten years of relevant senior‑level experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary corporate functions.
• Strong understanding of public‑sector financial and legal compliance.
