Director of Strategy

About the role

BURN is looking for a Director of Strategy to shape the company’s long‑term vision and drive growth initiatives. Reporting to the CEO and working with the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the development and execution of corporate strategy, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation, refinement, and execution of BURN’s corporate strategy, aligning it with mission and financial goals.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership to define long‑term priorities and translate them into actionable business plans.
• Oversee the annual strategic planning process, set OKRs, and monitor performance metrics.
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including geographic expansion, new product categories, and customer segments.
• Conduct market assessments, feasibility studies, and build strategic business cases for investment decisions.
• Develop and manage high‑impact strategic partnerships, negotiations, and relationships with external stakeholders.
• Assess potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and alliances.
• Lead enterprise‑wide financial modeling, investment analysis, and support fundraising activities.

Required profile

• Strategic, commercially astute, and results‑oriented leader.
• Strong analytical thinking combined with solid business judgment.
• Experience in corporate planning, market expansion, strategic partnerships, and business transformation.
• Proven ability to guide enterprise‑wide decision‑making and influence senior leadership.
