Dispatch Assistant – Logistics & Customer Service

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and collaborative Dispatch Assistant to ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient delivery of all orders while supporting drivers and dispatchers. Prior experience in e‑commerce, preferably within the fashion/apparel sector, is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, check and pack customer orders for dispatch, maintaining accurate records in Google Sheets and dispatch software.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, assign routes to riders, and monitor performance through daily drive and RTV reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for online and mail‑order customers, handling enquiries, complaints and order processing.
• Liaise with vendors and outsourced delivery services to ensure timely deliveries and returns, and manage inventory efficiently.
• Maintain rider documentation, fuel card loading, and ensure riders have necessary gear and licences.
• Provide daily performance and administrative reports to the Dispatch Manager and collaborate with Finance, Admin and Warehouse teams.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Operations or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Dispatch Assistant or in a similar logistics role, preferably in e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
