Distressed Passenger Agent

About the role

Corpay is seeking a responsive, customer‑focused Distressed Passenger Agent to arrange hotel accommodation and ground transportation for passengers impacted by flight disruptions. The role operates remotely, handling booking requests via the ConneX app, email, chat, phone, system alerts and walk‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange hotel stays and ground transport for distressed passengers, including urgent, last‑minute relocations.
• Source compliant hotel options when contracted hotels are unavailable, obtain airline approval for non‑compliant options, and record approvals in ConneX.
• Process vendor payments according to contractual terms and maintain accurate reservation records in TA Connections systems.
• Collaborate with scheduling teams, internal departments, management and vendors to resolve operational issues.
• Support IT, Billing and Commission Collections with data gathering, folio collection and payment‑related activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, travel, hospitality or call‑center environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable home internet (minimum 100 Mbps) and a quiet work environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel sourcing, rate negotiation and market requirements.
• General understanding of ConneX or similar booking systems.
• Proficiency with multiple computer systems simultaneously.
