About the role
We are looking for a skilled Domestic Chef to join a private household in Westlands, Nairobi. The role is live‑in, offering a fast‑paced environment where you will plan, prepare, and serve meals for the family and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Plan daily menus, create specials and design simple, creative dishes.
- Prepare, cook, bake and plate meals while maintaining consistent quality and portion control.
- Manage kitchen inventory, place orders, check freshness and dispose of spoiled items.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Organise kitchen workflow and improve storage efficiency.
Required profile
- Age between 26 and 35.
- Form 4, college or university graduate.
- Minimum two years of professional cooking experience.
- Willingness to live on‑site.
Required skills
- Menu planning and recipe development.
- Cooking, baking and pastry techniques.
- Inventory control and stock management.
- Food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
