Driver – Class C/CE

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Driver with a valid Class C/CE licence to join Zen Petroleum Limited’s logistics team in Westlands, Kenya. The role involves transporting goods safely, ensuring timely deliveries and representing the company professionally to clients and warehouse staff.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles such as box trucks, semi‑trucks or delivery vans on assigned routes while adhering to safety standards.
• Pick up and deliver cargo to clients or warehouses within agreed timeframes.
• Assist with loading, securing and unloading freight to avoid damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery receipts and inspection reports using electronic logging devices or mobile applications.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.
• Provide courteous customer service and act as a professional representative of the company.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of professional driving experience (mid‑level).
• Valid Kenyan Class C or CE driver’s licence.
• Ability to follow designated routes and delivery schedules.
• Good physical ability to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Required skills

• Electronic Logging Device (ELD) operation.
