Driver – Moving & Logistics (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a professional driver to join a specialized moving company operating across Kenya and internationally. The driver will be responsible for safe, efficient transport of household and office goods, supporting the moving team from pick‑up to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Drive moving trucks to transport household goods, office furniture, and other items to destination sites, including cross‑border moves.
• Pack, load, and unload furniture and boxes, handling items carefully to avoid damage.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes, respecting schedules and avoiding traffic or road hazards.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, report any issues, and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
• Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the moving process.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, complete paperwork such as inventory forms and delivery confirmations.
• Comply with all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies, securing loads properly.
• Collaborate with a team of movers and assist in training new crew members when needed.
• Manage time effectively to meet move deadlines.

Required profile

• Valid BCE driving license.
• KCSE certificate.
• Minimum 3 years experience driving 6‑wheeled vehicles.
• Good understanding of NTSA rules and guidelines.
• Basic mechanical skills for vehicle upkeep.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
