Driver/Rider – Transport & Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Driver/Rider to join our logistics team in Westlands, Kenya. The role involves picking up and delivering orders, handling payments, and ensuring the vehicle is well‑maintained while providing courteous service to passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and map out driving routes in advance.
• Collect orders, goods or passengers at scheduled times and locations.
• Handle cash payments, issue receipts and ensure accurate transaction records.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage or packages.
• Monitor traffic and weather updates and adjust routes to avoid congestion or road works.
• Answer customer queries about local attractions and points of interest.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable vehicle interior and exterior, scheduling washes and service appointments as needed.

Required profile

• High school certificate.
• Proven experience as a driver (minimum 1 month).
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (corrected).
• Physical ability to lift heavy packages and luggage.
• Willingness to work occasional weekend and night shifts.
• Professional and polite demeanor, able to stay calm in stressful traffic situations.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GPS navigation devices.
• Good knowledge of local roads and neighbourhoods in Westlands and surrounding areas.
