Driving School Manager & Operations Lead

About the role

We are a modern, fast‑growing driving school seeking an entrepreneurial Driving School Manager & Operations Lead to launch our premier training hub in Nairobi. You will be responsible for securing all regulatory approvals, setting up operational processes, and driving day‑to‑day performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NTSA licensing and compliance, handling eCitizen registration and physical inspections.
• Design the theoretical curriculum, map practical training routes, and implement vehicle scheduling systems.
• Oversee conversion of fleet vehicles to dual‑control units and manage routine maintenance tracking.
• Recruit, train, and supervise NTSA‑licensed driving instructors and support staff.
• Develop customer service frameworks and marketing initiatives to achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Valid, clean NTSA Driving Instructor License with at least 4 years of active instruction experience.
• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Education or a related field.
• Proven experience setting up a driving school or managing a busy branch serving 50+ students per month.
• Certificate of Good Conduct issued within the last 12 months.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili with strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the NTSA eCitizen portal for licensing and inspections.
• Experience configuring and managing vehicle scheduling systems.
