Early Childhood Development Teacher

About the role

Oshwal Academy, a private international school offering the British curriculum, is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Development Teacher to join its dynamic team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality early years education and fostering a supportive learning environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum for early childhood.
• Prepare students for examinations and conduct grading in accordance with school standards.
• Develop and continuously improve curriculum materials and teaching guidelines.
• Maintain classroom discipline, ensure safety, and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff development activities.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Education (B.Ed.) or related subject specialization.
• Minimum of four years teaching experience in early childhood or primary education.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
• Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
