About the role
The school is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teacher to join its team in Chuka. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering curriculum to PP1 and PP2 learners and supporting their overall development.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the Competency‑Based Curriculum (CBC).
- Teach, assess and track academic progress of young learners.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) or a related teaching qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching PP1/PP2 learners.
- Good classroom management, communication skills and a passion for working with young children.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the Competency‑Based Curriculum (CBC).
- Ability to prepare teaching and learning materials and conduct learner assessments.
