About the role
We are seeking a dedicated ECDE Care‑Giver to join the Elgeyo Marakwet County Public Service Board in Iten. The role involves delivering early childhood education to learners in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach ECDE learners using age‑appropriate curricula.
- Organise play and learning activities that support social, emotional, mental, moral and physical development.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance records and prepare learning materials.
- Ensure learner safety at all times.
- Guide children and parents on curriculum matters and learning progress.
Required profile
- Minimum KCSE grade D+.
- Certificate in ECDE from KNEC, MOE or another recognised institution.
- Registration with the Teachers Service Commission.
- A Diploma or additional certificate is an advantage.
Required skills
- Basic computer applications proficiency.
- First Aid certification.
