Ecommerce Specialist

About the role

The Ecommerce Specialist will manage and optimise Safari Group’s and Kenya Airways online retail platforms, driving sales and enhancing the customer experience. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Nairobi and involves overseeing product listings, pricing, promotions and inventory across multiple e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise product listings, pricing, promotions and inventory accuracy on all e‑commerce platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute online campaigns.
• Analyse performance metrics, generate insights and recommend improvements to conversion rates and customer engagement.
• Handle customer inquiries, coordinate with logistics for order fulfilment and resolve service issues promptly.
• Monitor e‑commerce trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, E‑Commerce, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience managing online marketplaces or digital storefronts, preferably in retail or travel retail.
• Strong analytical ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding online sales targets.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Experience with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of digital payment systems.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
