Editorial Content Specialist

About the role

DigitalQatalyst is looking for a detail‑oriented Editorial Content Specialist to support the creation, editing and publication of high‑quality learning materials for its Academy. The role works closely with subject‑matter experts to ensure content is accurate, engaging and ready for delivery on digital learning platforms. Ideal candidates have a background in technical writing or educational publishing and a strong eye for detail.

Key responsibilities

• Edit, proofread and review learning materials to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Apply editorial standards and conduct quality‑assurance checks before publication.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop learner guides, assessments and downloadable resources.
• Manage content repositories, version control and documentation compliance.
• Coordinate review, approval and publishing processes to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Communications, English, Journalism, Education, Technical Writing, Instructional Design or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing, editorial work, educational publishing or content development.
• Proven ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Analytical thinking and stakeholder collaboration experience.
