About the role

The Editorial & Digital Growth Intern will support daily editorial operations and audience growth initiatives for Moto Seen Africa, a media platform focused on business, leadership and opportunity across Africa. This full‑time, on‑site position in Nairobi involves researching topics, drafting articles, assisting with editing, and contributing to digital publishing and social media efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Research business and leadership topics, gather and verify information, and draft clear, engaging articles.
• Assist with editing, fact‑checking and ensuring content follows style guidelines.
• Manage digital publishing workflows, optimise headlines and content for online platforms.
• Support social media and basic marketing activities to increase reach and engagement.
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve digital visibility.

Required profile

• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Business or related field.
• Strong communication and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Nairobi and collaborate in a fast‑paced newsroom.
• Interest in Africa‑focused business and leadership storytelling.

Required skills

• Basic editorial skills including editing and fact‑checking.
• Research skills for business and market information.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools, content management systems or social media platforms (advantage).
