Electrical Assistant

About the role

Stratostaff East Africa is hiring a full-time Electrical Assistant in Nairobi within its manufacturing sector. The role covers hands-on support for electrical systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Support troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electrical issues
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical installations
• Assist in wiring, panel work and equipment setup under supervision
• Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical tools and materials
• Adhere to safety standards, procedures and regulations at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
• Provide support in documenting maintenance activities and reports
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks on time

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Strong basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Exposure to or basic understanding of automation systems is an added advantage
• Ability to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines
• Good communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks where required
