Electrical Engineering Manager – Wind Energy Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, execution, and compliance of wind farm projects. Based in Hyderabad, you will oversee engineering consultants, ensure technical excellence, and drive cost‑effective solutions for high‑voltage transmission and substation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project designs, ensuring they meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate engineering consultants, review and approve designs, documentation, and equipment test reports.
• Represent the engineering team in project meetings and presentations.
• Conduct load flow, short‑circuit, and power system studies for wind farms.
• Ensure compliance with Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, CEA, and utility regulations.
• Support cost estimation, financial modelling, and feasibility analysis for wind energy projects.

Required profile

• B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in wind farm electrical design, substations, and EHV transmission lines up to 400 kV.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for renewable energy and high professional standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETAP, PSCAD, and AutoCAD.
• Expertise in HV/MV/EHV electrical systems for wind projects.
• Experience with load flow analysis, short‑circuit studies, and power system studies.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, CEA, and utility standards.
