Electrical & Instrumentation Technician – Industrial Projects

About the role

FMA Services is seeking 23 Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians to join its growing team in Belgium. You will work on challenging maintenance, project, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation installations.
• Support industrial projects, expansions, and long‑term assignments.
• Carry out pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up of process equipment.
• Execute loop checks, functional tests, calibration and validation activities.
• Install, connect, wire and test instrumentation and electrical components.
• Diagnose faults, interpret electrical diagrams and P&IDs, and resolve issues safely.

Required profile

• Technical education in Electricity, Electromechanics, Instrumentation & Control or equivalent experience.
• Experience in an industrial environment is a plus, but motivated starters are welcome.
• Safety‑conscious, precise work style with willingness to obtain a VCA certificate.
• Valid driving licence (category B); BA4/BA5 certification is an asset.
