Engagement Delivery Lead – Technology (Africa)

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Engagement Delivery Lead (Technology) for its Africa footprint. This senior‑manager position will own the day‑to‑day delivery of technology transformation projects across multiple African markets, ensuring quality, scope, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily delivery of assigned technology engagements, maintaining plans, tracking milestones, and balancing team workload.
• Lead stand‑ups, sprint reviews and weekly engagement reviews, guaranteeing timely completion and adherence to KPMG standards.
• Maintain accurate RAID logs, escalating risks and issues to the Program Director as needed.
• Interact with client stakeholders, facilitate workshops, present deliverables and nurture project‑level relationships.
• Monitor financials, tracking hours, expenses and milestones against budget and flagging variances.
• Review and approve client‑facing deliverables, enforce scope control and coordinate with Architecture Leads on technical design decisions.
• Apply KPMG delivery methodology, templates and governance frameworks across all engagements.
• Identify and reuse assets and accelerators to improve efficiency.
• Coach and develop junior team members, fostering capability growth.

Required profile

• Senior‑manager experience in technology transformation or consulting engagements.
• Proven ability to lead delivery teams in an agile environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience tracking project financials and managing scope.
• Ability to enforce quality standards and delivery methodologies.
