Environment, Health & Safety Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health & Safety Manager will lead occupational health and safety initiatives across warehouse and factory operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee OHS activities, developing and continuously improving safety management systems, risk control measures, and company policies.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, risk assessments and lead investigations of accidents, near‑misses and occupational illnesses, driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programmes, emergency preparedness drills and awareness campaigns.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, HR and external regulators, monitor safety KPIs and prepare regular compliance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or related field, with NEBOSH certification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of local OHS laws, environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.
