Equipment Operator Foreman (Tier 4)

About the role

The Equipment Operator Foreman (Tier 4) leads a team of equipment operators on construction projects at Manda Bay. The role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands‑on operation of a wide range of construction equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and allocate a team of equipment operators based on project priorities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project personnel, and team members.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of assigned equipment, ensuring safe work practices.
• Complete required administrative tasks and support subordinate personnel.
• Operate light, medium, and some heavy equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, rollers, compactors, tractors, sprayers, sweepers, plows, forklifts, and backhoes.
• Inspect equipment condition, report major issues, and perform minor or emergency repairs.
• Train less‑skilled workers in equipment operation and care.
• Perform manual labor or other duties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–7 years of related experience operating construction equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid certifications required to operate the listed equipment.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.
