Equipment & Yard Coordinator

About the role

Komatsu is seeking an Equipment & Yard Coordinator to support yard operations in the Phoenix‑Mesa area. The role involves preparing machine components for the shop, maintaining yard organization, and assisting with inventory and shipment processes. The position is onsite, Monday‑Thursday, with early‑morning shifts during summer.

Key responsibilities

• Wash and clean components using steam guns or pressure washers.
• Transport components safely between yard and shop using a forklift.
• Paint and shrink‑wrap components as required.
• Complete component check‑out sheets, inspection reports, and time cards.
• Receive machines and attachments, record hours, fuel, manuals, and document any damage.
• Park equipment in designated areas and notify the Rental Coordinator.
• Verify outbound equipment details, take photos, and assist with loading for delivery.
• Maintain orderly yard layout and perform regular consignment inspections.
• Support inventory verification and physical inventory counts.
• Assist with disposition of machines and attachments for service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime regularly.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision and set priorities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lb, climb on/off equipment, and stand for extended periods.
