Executive Vice President, Evidence

About the role

Evidence Action seeks an Executive Vice President, Evidence to lead the strategic growth and transformation of its Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) teams, Cost‑Effectiveness unit, and epidemiology capability. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Global Leadership Team, you will ensure the reliability of evidence that guides program design, delivery, and scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction and operational excellence of MLE, cost‑effectiveness, and epidemiology functions.
• Generate, assess, and integrate evidence throughout the program lifecycle in partnership with program teams.
• Maintain independence in evidence assessment, surfacing uncomfortable findings when necessary.
• Represent evidence functions in senior leadership discussions and external stakeholder engagements.
• Drive a data‑driven culture that aligns with Evidence Action’s mission and impact goals.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in monitoring, evaluation, cost‑effectiveness analysis, or epidemiology within global health or development contexts.
• Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and influence organizational strategy.
• Strong track record of working with governments, donors, and high‑impact NGOs.
• Demonstrated commitment to data‑driven decision‑making and transparent evidence practices.
